about me

last.fm

Name: Corrine
Mood: Life could be worse. Joie de vivre.
Height: 5’4” yay shorty.
Age: 17
Describe yourself in three words: reserved, intuitive, intelligent
What is it like to be you?: Well, besides the whole family thing… It’s pretty fucking chill, not gonna lie. I got where I am through just being myself, which is a rare and beautiful thing to behold methinks. And I think the most challenging thing about my life is, indeed, staying true to myself, primarily. Not to sound egotistical — I am far from that. I am probably one of the less self-centered people you can meet. I am an INFJ, which also explains why I am such a freak.
Job: Student without adequate motivation.
Favorite Color: Lack thereof - white.
Favorite Band: Radiohead (4 lyyfee), AnCo, Deerhunter, and all of the solo projects/other bands all three are associated with.
Siblings: Two older brothers (moved out), one younger sister.
Tattoos? Not for me but they are fucking art.
Perfect Guy/Girl: 404
Hobbies: I don’t have time for hobbies. Any free time I have you can find me at my friend’s house being all artsy and completely out of it.
What makes you happy: Escapism and being with friends. It’s all I could ask for, really.
Opinion of myself: I like myself. I’m not perfect, not even close; but even though it hinders me sometimes (okay, most of the time)… I like my unique way of thinking of things. And my sense of humor — I’m fucking hilarious. I’m independent, I’m creative, I’m cautiously optimistic, and I like to be places where I am accepted. Which are not abundant. I enjoy my life and the opportunities that I’ve been blessed with, and it’s safe to say that I’m only in it for the [long, winding, wholeheartedly challenging but satisfying] ride.
Reason for this blog: A creative outlet that is in an easy, familiar format. I’ve gathered small clippings, song lyrics, and photographs throughout this past year — and not gonna lie, 2010-2011 was one of the hardest years of my life so far. Now it is time to emancipate the art into the blogosphere and prove to the world that I am a for realz artist.
